Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a slender type of polarization diversity antenna at base station for cellular mobile radios. For a use of 6-sector radio zone configuration, a 60゜ beam-width is required in the horizontal plane. We clearly show antenna structure parameters of most slender antenna. As a horizontal polarization antenna, we employ a V type dipole antenna. Two sub-reflectors are located on both ends of a main-reflector. With the proposed configuration, radome size can be reduced by 60.6% for the covering of antenna, compared with that for conventional plane reflector antennas.
