Abstract(in English) | An ellipse beam with two peaks is derived by circular paraboloidal reflector fed by one horn illuminating sidelobe region. In shaped beam reflector antennas fed by multiple horns, reduction of horn number and improvement of EOC gain are expected by using the ellipse beam with two peaks as component beam. In this paper, the mechanism of the construction of the ellipse beam with two peaks is presented qualitatively. Next, basic performances are presented by numerical example using circular symmetrical parabola fed by rectangular horn. |
