Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A parallel computer system is becoming one of the promising methods to achieve large scale PIC(Particle-in-Cell)plasma simulations.Although a vectorization technique has been a powerful way to save our simulation time, we recognize that the technique wastes a large amount of memory instead. In order to achieve a large scale PIC simulation which models large spatial region with low noise level, we have developed a domain decomposition electromagnetic PIC simulation code using a distributed-memory parallel computer(SR2201 of NIPR). We show the results of test runs of a whistler mode wave excitation by a large scale simulation as well as the implementation and the performance on CPU time of the code.
