Abstract(in English) This paper proposes an effective packet transmission scheme for CSMA/CA wireless access systems employing OFDM modulation. The proposed method improves the channel efficiency by shortening the delay due to OFDM processing which is relatively long because of the conversion from serial to parallel(S/P), IFFT etc. This delay degrades throughput performance at high data rates. The basic concept of this scheme is that preprocessed preamble symbols are stored inmemory for immediate packet transmission. The maximum throughput performance of the proposed scheme is evaluated for various data lengths and rates. Moreover, the throughput performance on random error channel is evaluated by numerical analyses. Evaluation results show that the proposed scheme offers better channel efficiency at all bit error rates than a conventional scheme.
