Abstract(in English) Onboard antennas of the next-generation communication satellites will require multiple beam forming function, high gain and antenna beam steering faculty. The intergrated steerable mutiple beam phased array antenna with variable power dividers and a microwave fast Fourier transform (MW-FFT) circuit is ideally lossless, and it provides beam steering property by a simple control circuit. This paper describes its scanning properties. Multiple beam forming and beam steering function of the antenna are successfully confirmed by both circuit-level mesurements and radiation pattern measurements.
