Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For a design of Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) antenna, it is important to derive the optimum dimension and operating condition of the antenna with minimum surface clutter. In this paper, a design of T-bar fed slot antenna is reported. This antenna has suitable characteristics for GPR, such as wide-band operation, low surface clutter, low multiple reflection without absorber. The suppression of multiple reflection is also discussed with FDTD results.
