Abstract(in English)	Recent development of mobile telecommunication systems raise the public concern about the safety of human exposure to electromagnetic fields.Although radiofrequency protection guides based on thermal effects of electromagnetic energy deposited in human body have been widely accepted,possibility of human hazards due to rather mild radiation of electromagnetic fields has also been a problem of concern.The recent topics on safety guides and on the development of biological effects of electromagnetic waves are reviewed here in the view point of the relation with mobile telecommunication systems.
