Abstract(in English) | To achieve deep local or regional hyperthermia,three types of applicator systems have been developed.One is a capasitive applicator with a double electrode.To concentrate a electric field, a pair of two ferroelectric materials in the small boluses with the value of relative permittinity of 6000 is adopted.As for local implant heating,applicator systems with a combination of ferrite core and eddy current absorber has been developed.As a result of heating tests,a pure implant local heating method which is able to avoid the hot spot generation has been established.As to a non- invassive deep heating applicator,the system which consist of two pairs of deformed ferrite cores and auxiliary electrodes to control eddy current has been developed.By this constitution,it is found that deep heating become possible without heating a fat layer.All these principles of constructions have been investigated theoretically from the view point of the Finite Element Method. |
