Abstract(in English) This report presents an experimental detection result of corner reflectors on road shoulders,by using an FM-CW radar system, mounted on a van.The motivation of the research is to assist a vehicle driver to recognize where the vehicle is located within a road in an adverse weather situation,e.g.,in the blizzard or foggy condition,which also serves snow shoveling work in such a heavy snowy region.It is shown that the radar could map the cormer reflectors on road shoulders in real time operation at a speed up to 50 km, h.
