Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A 3-D corner reflector antenna consists of three planar reflectors and a 3, 4 λ (λ is wavelength) monopole antenna locate d on one of the reflectors. It can be analyzed accurately with diffracted fields by using UTD.By using a 5/4 λ monopole antenna i nstead of a 3/4 λ monopole antenna, the main beam width is found to be much narrower. As the monopole length becomes longer, the main beam is sharper, while the sidelobes increase. The longest monopole length with the sidelobe level lower than -20dB is found to be 9/4 λ.
