Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) An analysis using boundary element method (BEM) is presented for single-feed circularly polarized microstrip antennas. When the BEM is applied to microstrip antennas, the open boundary condition should be considered. We propose to use the load on this boundary which is obtained from radiation fields of unperturbed microstrip antenna. This method is applied to microstrip antenna with perturbation element, and the usefulness and accuracy of the method are shown through comparison with experimental results.
