| Abstract(in English) | This paper describes about an analytical study for a monopole antenna efficiency characteristics put on a real portable radio unit. At first, gain degradation factors are investigated for a real portable radio antenna and it is proposed that an antenna efficiency is used as a evaluation factor for antenna characteristics in multipath environments. Next, the antenna efficiency of a monopole antenna on a real unit is analyzed as a parameter of the antenna length. As a result, it was shown that the 1/2 wavelength monopole antenna serves me maximum antenna efficiency. |
