Abstract(in English) | This Paper proposes a straight wire model to investigate principally and generally the physical behavior of a small wireless terminal antenna with a rectangular metal housing box and shows the validity of the proposed model by calculation results. By using this model, relations between antenna geometries and characteristics like current distributions and radiation patterns are studied and it is pointed out that the phase distribution over the antenna plays significant role to determine the radiation pattern. Approximate formula for the current was also derived and used to present general results for understandings of the small wireless terminal antenna. |
