Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The linearly tapered slot antenna (LTSA) is known as a wide bandwidth antenna. In this paper, LTSAs fed by CPW feeding line were fabricated and tested at the X-band. The experimental results of these antennas confirmed high performance in both radiation patterns and return loss characteristics. Moreover, some results on the electric fields which are computed by FD-TD method are also presented here. As a result of these experiments, it is shown that LTSA fed by CPW is effective as a new type of wide bandwidth planar antenna.
