Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In indoor propagation environments of wide band wireless communication systems, multiple reflected waves significantly degrade the transmission quality. In this paper, the operation principle of adaptive array in multipath environments that exceed by far the degree of antenna freedom was clarified. It is shown that to suppress multipath waves delayed by M symbols or less, the array requires only almost M antenna elements regardless of the number of the waves. Furthermore, the performance of adaptive array in indoor propagation environments is carried out by using a geometrical optics algorithm for indoor propagation calculation.
