Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The interferences may have some spatial spreading at the mobile communication environment. This paper discusses the performance of a 3-element LMS adaptive array in the presence of such spreading of an interference signal, and shows the change of the output SINR and array pattern with the spreading varies. This paper makes clear that the array freedom used to creating main lobe for the desired signal changes to supressing the spreaded interference signal even when the spread is as small as 3 degree, so that the desired signal makes less effect to the array pattern, and the output SINR degrades. The effect of the spreading is most significant when, there is no correlation between the spreaded interference signal components, and is still very significant even when the correlation is high.
