Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Analysis of wide-area cellular slotted ALOHA networks with multiple base stations is presented. The throughput of a cellular slotted ALOHA network is assessed for various cell-cluster sizes C=1,3,4, taking into account of contending packets in a cell and co-channel interference packets from the other cells. We consider vatious conditions of spatial distribution of traffic and capture ratio. Analytical and numerical results show that the network for cell-cluster size 1 has better performance in most of the considered cases. They also show that the network for cell-cluster sizes 3 and 4 has better performance in some cases when the spatial distribution of traffic is centralized on the boundary of the cell or the capture ratio is about as much as 15dB.
