Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a new timing recovery scheme, which uses phase information for QPSK modulation. The proposed scheme requires only phase information of the received baseband signal sampled two samples per symbol, and it is operated by the local signal whose frequency is twice the symbol rate. The proposed scheme achieves rapid phase synchronization with the "0π" modulated preamble signal, and achieves low phase jitter with random pattern signal. The proposed timing recovery scheme is very useful to the demodulator in high-speed radio communication system using "0π" modulated preamble signal.
