Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We measured the field strength and multipath delay profiles for each branch of a space diversity antenna system used in car TV reception. The measured data was used to compute the correlation coefficients between the branches. The total energy of the received multipath waves was used as a scale for branch selection. We confirmed that the introduced scale improves the performance of the diversity antenna system as compared with the conventional diversity method of which the scale is the field strength.
