Abstract(in English) | Cellular mobile communication systems generally lie on road networks. It is considered that structure of the road network and the traffic flow on the road network affect some important parameters, such as the hand-off probability, the channel occupancy time, the blocking probability and so on. It is an important issue to analyze teletraffic characteristics of the cellular system with consideration on the structure of the road network and the traffic flow on the road network. On the 1-dimensional road systems model, the teletraffic characteristics have been theoretically analyzed with consideration on the structure of the road network and the traffic flow. This paper extends the technique for teletraffic analysis of the cellular system on the 1-dimensional road systems model to that of the 2-dimensional road systems model. For the extension, we use some results reported in the transportation engineering. |
