Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the study of electromagnetic wave scattering, We have discussed the equivalence between Aperture field integration method (AFIM) and Physical optics (PO). In this report, we try to extend the discussion for general shape conductor; a parabolic cylinder antenna with offset feed is chosen as a simple model. We have compared numerically the field using PO and AFIM. An interesting observation is found that the integration of PO reflected wave on the infinite aperture is well approximated by the integration over finite aperture provided that the direct incident wave is added to the reflected waves in the integrand.
