Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The performances of anti-multipath techniques such as a multibranch selection diversity, an adaptive array antenna and transversal combining decision Feedback equalizer(TC-DFE) are analyzed by computer simulation. The way to approximate the bit error rate functions of both the adaptive array antenna and the TC-DFE each of which has superior performance over delay dispersive channels are explained. According to a empirical equations of propagation parameters estimation and the above function, the equalization is more significant than array antennas in mobile communication systems with higher than 6Mbit/s.
