Analysis of Electric Field Distribution near Car Body

Abstract(in English) In a system which controls electric devices installed in a car using a radio wave, the electric field generated by the radio wave radiated from the transmitting antenna is analyzed in consideration of effect of the car and human bodies. Field distribution is calculated in a frequency range of 100-500MHz by using the FD-TD method. The calculated results indicate that the field distribution in the car cabin varies greatly with the change of the frequency and the polarization, and there are several places where the strength of the electric field becomes low owing to the generated standing-wave. Moreover, it becomes clear that the transmitting antenna gain including the effect of the human body varies with the polarization and the distance between the human body and the antenna.
