Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a scheduling algorithm with combination of data packets in WDM single-hop network under mixed traffic with unicast and multicast packets. A proposed algorithm postpones the transmission of the data packet which has more destination addresses overlapping with those of other packets and can make the number of data packets with small delay large. Therefore, our scheduling algorithm is able to improve the average packet delay performance. We evaluate average packet delay performance of the proposed scheduling algorithm by computer simulation. As a result, we show that the proposed scheduling algorithm can improve the average packet delay and throughput performance as compared with a conventional scheduling algorithm.
