A Comparison of Network Cost for Reliable Multicast

Abstract(in English) Multicast is required with the rapid spread of the Internet. Particularly, reliable multicast, which gurantees the delivery of information, is required. Local recovery for reliable multicast is the method which can localize the influence of retransmissions by collecting nodes. This paper compares the network cost of several network topologies to find the most appropriate topology for reliable multicast with local recovery.
