Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The traffic in Internet Protocol(IP) networks has risen rapidly due to the widespread use of the Internet and Intranets. The volume of data traffic, including IP-packet traffic, will soon greatly exceed that of telephone traffic. Therefore many organizations are proposing various kinds of new telecommunication services provided by the convergence of IP networks with telephone network, and intelligent network(IN) architecture can be one of the effective ways to achieve the convergence of these networks. This paper describes the service model to provide agent services of service operation for who wants to begin business using Internet. Especially, we focus on service provisioning via Internet, and discuss the method to realize this model using Service Management System(SMS).
