Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Performance characteristic of routers plays a central role of the performance of Internet-type data networks. Since dispersion of the destination addresses influences performance of routers, a pseudo packet generator(or program)must include an appropriate address generation algorithm. The address generation procedure becomes heavy when the number of the generated addresses increases. To apply the address generation algorithm to the actual simulation, the address generation procedure is required to generate a long address sequence in short time. In this paper, we propose high-speed algorithm of address generation and evaluate its performance.
