Abstract(in English) We have investigated the relationship between Aeff and MFD using highly accurate MFD / Aeff measurement system by Far-Field Scan (FFS) technique with tunable laser source. As a results, it was found that the wavelength dependency of MFD and Aeff of Large effective area dispersion shifted fiber (LEDSF) was greater than that of conventional Single mode fiber (SMF), Cut-off shifted fiber (CSF) and Dispersion shifted fiber (DSF), and Non-zero dispersion shifted fiber (NZDSF).
