Abstract(in English) This report describes the configuration and experimental results of the OFDM modem test set for 5 GHz high data rate wireless LAN Systems. The test set which is implemented by programmable gate array devices realizes 1/4 scale operation of 20 Mbit/s transmission. It employs DQPSK-OFDM modulation using 48 subcarriers with Viterbi decoding of 3/4 coding rate and it also employs a burst synchronization circuit which performs symbol timing detection and carrier frequency offset compensation. The experimental results show that it achieves good packet error rate performance of 0.1% or less in multipath channel with RMS delay spread of 100 ns.
