Abstract(in English) This report is concerned with a RAKE receiver based on the least squares method in which the past values of the correlation output excluding the data phase component are approxiumated by the time function.This report,first,shows analytical equations which express the characteristics of the radio channel estimation based on the least squares method under the Raylei fading environment. From the analytical equations,a problem is clarified that the estimation characteristics depend on the degree of the approximation function,the maximum Doppler frequency and the noise power.To solve this problem,moreover,this paper proposes a radio channel estimation method in which a parameter is set appropriately based on the analytical equations according to the radio channel conditions.Computer simulations show the effectiveness of t.he proposed method.
