Abstract(in English) Micro-cellualr system is known as to increase the traffic capacity,although fast moving users generate a large amount of handoffs.It is generally said that multi-layered cellular system, where cells of different sizes coexit,can alleviate this problem by assigning the slow moving users to smaller cells and fast moving ones to larger cells. In this report,we evaluate and compare the traffic capacity of micro-cellualr system,macro-cellular system and multi-layered cellular system by theoretical analysis and computer simulation.
