| 抄録(和) | 一つの基地局と複数の端末から成る集中制御のマイクロセル型無線LANにおいて,PRMAプロトコルを用いるシステムを考える.一つのセル内の上りチャネルに着目し,ビデオ情報とコンピュータデータを同時伝送する.無線LANでは無視できない伝送誤りに対処するため,データに対しては単純なARQ制御を,ビデオに対しては許容遅延によるパケット廃棄制御を併用したARQ制御を行う.このようなシステムの性能をシミュレーションによって評価している.シミュレーションの結果,ビデオ情報の伝送にはARQ制御が必須であることが分かった.また,パケット廃棄制御についても,誤り率が極めて小さい領域を除いて,広い範囲で有効であることが明らかになった.更に,下りチャネルにおけるARQ制御の実現方法についても考察を加えている. |
| 抄録(英) | This paper studies integrated video and data transmission over a wireless LAN which consists of a single base station and many terminals.The performance of the LAN with the PRMA MAC protocol is evaluated through simulation in the presence of transmission errors.Stop and wait ARQ control is carried out over both video and data.Regarding video traffic,we also examine the applicability of a packet discard technique,which discards packets with elapsed time of more than a threshold value..The simulation results show that the ARQ is indispensable to video transmission,and the packet discard technique is also effective unless bit error-rates are very low.In addition,we consider how to exert the ARQ control on the downlink channel. |
