Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Information processing environments have become spread over wide ranges and the technology involved in them has become very advanced, and as a result information can be delivered over all ranges in many different ways.Multimedia information can also be delivered over wide area networks, and this has caused delivery information structures themselves to be become quite complicated. In this paper,we propose an Information Delivery Application Architecture which can treat various types of information and various delivery functions with a unified framework. This architecture shares information delivery control fuinctions and offers these functions to business application programs. This make it possible to avoid redundant implementation of similar functions in information systems, and has the potential to significantly improve information delivery mechanisms.
