A Mobile IP Scheme Considering Packet Transmission Efficiency

Abstract(in English) As a Mobile IP scheme, IP Mobility Support, which is proposed by the IETF Working Group, is well known. However, the routing optimization problem is remained to be improved. In this paper, Routing Agents (RA) cache the routing information of mobile hosts. By using the RAs' routing information, we propose the RA Control Scheme to shorten the route of packet transmission. We evaluate the performance of proposed scheme in terms of the packet transmission hops by simulation, where the mobile hosts are assumed to be the WWW clients.
