Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we proposes a bitrate allocation method for MPEG video data streams which share same channel. First, we analyzed rate-distortion characteristics of MPEG encoder and relation betweeen bitstream scaling and distortion. Then, we proposed bandwidth allocation method for realtime video transmission system and storaged video transmissoin system. The proposed bitrate allocation method for MPEG video is evaluated by a computer simulation by comparing with the other methods for MPEG video. |
