| Abstract(in English) | Provision of the guaranteed service is one of requirements for the next generation IP networks. This paper proposes "the multi-grade service provision method", which provides the guaranteed service in addition to the conventional best-effort service on large scale IP network based on ATM backbone networks. The propoeed method has two major features. The first one is that the best effort route is constructed based on the connectionless transfer technology with Connectionless Server (CLS). The second one is that the guaranteed route is constructed by setting up the "cut through SVC" on demand with RSVP. |
