Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper makes a performance comparison among four media synchronization schemes for live MPEG video and voice. The schemes differ from each other in a combination of the number of transport streams and the existence or nonexistence of a media synchronization capability at the destination. To support live MPEG video, the paper extends a live media synchronization mechanism which the authors previously proposed. We have implemented the extended mechanism on a wireless LAN and measured the performance of the four schemes by experiment.
