A Study of the Partial File RePlacement Using the Program-loader in Switching Systems

Abstract(in English) On-line file replacement is one of the most important techniques for immediate software provisioning and service enhancement of a switching or communication system.To assure the reliabity,whole system initialization or restart for the partial replacement operation has to be avioded.For this purpose,it is appropriate to impliment an on-line program loader function in the OS kernel that will not influence the processing of the system. This paper presents main techniques for such a program loader.
