Abstract(in English) High multi-channel processing time switch LSI which is one of the key-device in degital exchange,contributes to miniaturization and simplicity of the equipment.This paper investigates LSI chip size,consumed power,memory cycle time,and a number of LSI pins on the basis of our experience of developing a 4K-channel time switch LSI and a 8K-chaneel time switch LSI and shows realization of a 16K-channel time switch LSI by 0.5μm technology and a 32K-channel time switch LSI by 0.3μm technology,thinking about developing tren d of CMOS LSI devices.
