Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We present a ABR service supporting method using Virtual Source / Virtual Destination (VS/VD) in public ATM networks. In our method, access switching systems terminate ABR protocol on access lines, and transit switching systems use congestion notification mechanisms. ABR service can be quickly and cost effectively developed by our method. This report shows number of cell buffer and suitable ABR parameters to support our method.
