Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes a system that realizes the fault tolerant execution of network-wide distributed object-oriented switching systems by means of replicating objects. It also explains the method for managing the replicated objects that achieve the target function of applications. We implement this scheme by locating the management mechanisms in an application space. The language system (preprocessor) that generates the codes for the management mechanisms is developed. The proposed methods will reduce the amount of the cost to design and implement additional fault-tolerant applications.
