A Study on Multimedia Service Composition Mechanism

Abstract(in English) We study the effect and feasibility for service composition mechanism in distributed multimedia systems. Service Broker is our proposal which selects the adequate servers according to the user's ambiguous requirements and coordinates with service provider's requirements or network provider's requirements. This paper describes the concept and basic architecture for multimedia service composition. It also discusses the feature interaction problems.
