| Abstract(in English) | As ATM network services are extending, network computing is expected to cooperate data processing systems and communication systems. With rapid spreading of Personal Computers (PCs), using network computing through ATM Desktop environments is becoming significant. To realize it, it is required to overcome system bus bottleneck inside a PC. For this purpose, we present an ATM microLAN system which provides ATM cell switching. Secondly we describe higher operability of PC-ATM bus as a key technology of ATM microLAN. Moreover we show practical examples for network computing. |
