Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) NTT released IROS (Interface for Realtime Operating Systems) in 1992, as a software base for fault-tolerant systems such as switching, communication processing and other realtime systems. To achieve fault-tolerance, fault recovery technology including fault-detection, fault-analysis and service-restart is major technical issue. In this paper, we discuss requirements of fault recovery technology from a view point of hierarchical software structure, and we point out the suitable logical equipment model and control functions of the logical equipment.
