Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) User friendly services can be provided using interactive voice response(IVR)capability which is composed of speech recognition function and speech synthesis function. This will enable users to easily and naturally give instructions to the services by their voice. We investigate feasibility of advanced intelligent network(IN)services using IVR. In this paper, we discuss dialogue control procedures which determine the call processing procedures in SRFs(Specialized Resource Functions)for the IN application protocols using IVR capabilities. We estimate the effectiveness of the dialogue control procedures by an evaluation experiment of an IN service using IVR capabilities.
