Abstract(in English) | Slot coupling is discussed in redial line slot antennas with dielectric layers over the aperture. Uniform aperture field is designed by using a slot-pair model of waveguides with periodic boundary conditions in the walls in order to include external mutual coupling in infinite two-dimensional array. The aperture field is analyzed by spectral domain approach in terms of frequency and dielectric configuration. The analyses are confirmed by measurements at 38GHz band. The aperture field is unchanged for various height of a dielectric layer by selecting the thickness to suppress the reflection. In this case, the design of the slot array is separated from that for the dielectric layer. |
