Simultaneous and broadband measurement of the material dispersion using Cross-Correlation Frequency Resolved Optical Gating

Abstract(in English) For the purpose of the "Wave Packet Engineering", we demonstrated "Cross-Correlation Frequency Resolved Optical Gating (XFROG)" to analyze the amplitude and phase change of the femtosecond pulses after passing through the material. Compared with the Kramers-Kronig transform that can calculate the refractive index from absorption coefficient, XFROG is useful because both the amplitude and phase difference can be simultaneously determined from a single set of experimental data. XFROG is especially effective for the measurement of the higher order dispersion.
