Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have performed reliability tests on our Er-doped tellurite fiber and Pr-doped fluoride fiber modules based on the Bellcore Technical Advisory TA-NWT-001221 and under long-term practical operating conditions. We obtained trouble-free results for temperature-humidity cycling, temperature cycling, damp heat, low-temperature storage, heat shock, and vibration tests, and there was no degradation in the amplification characteristics under long-term practical amplification conditions. This reveals that our tellurite and fluoride fiber modules have sufficient long-term stability under practical environmental and operating conditions.
