Abstract(in English) Stabilizing the pump power and the wavelength of the light from 980-nm LD(Laser diode) module is essential for the optical fiber amplifier. Optical feed back by FG(fiber grating) is an effective way of stabilization, whereas is causes the decrease of kink-free fiber output power. The mechanism of kink under FG based feedback system is proposed. The kink on L-I(Light vs.current)curve is caused by the coupling between the higher order transverse mode and the feed back light from the FG. Accordingly, longer cavity length and precise alignment of coupling optics is effective for the increase of kink-free output power.
