Abstract(in English) A successful development of dense wavelength division multi/demultiplexing(DWDM) will require handling a large number of optical modules and fibers to be mounted on a printed electric circuit board in a high-density manner. We proposed and demonstrated the surface mounting of a Planar Lightwave Circuit(PLC) on an optical fiber circuit board for realizing efficient integration and high density mounting of optical modules. We realized the surface mounting process with easy alignment and the PC connection of 32fibers and a duplex 1x16 splitter with a pitch of 0.127 mm.
